Tanya Lilley-Chan,

B.A., B.N.

Tanya graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. With this medical background and a passion for the cosmetic industry, Tanya decided to pursue a career in Medical Aesthetics.

Tanya was trained at the Canadian Laser Institute in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 2017. Gaining extensive knowledge in cutting edge cosmetic lasers with emphasis on hair removal and skin tightening.

Meet Joanne.  A skin and beauty enthusiast with a natural passion for helping others.  Joanne obtained her Skin Specialist certification from Eternal Beauty, with specializations in multiple skin and body treatments.

Skin is ever changing, and it can take you on an emotional rollercoaster.  From her education and personal experiences with acne, she finds taking a holistic approach is the most impactful way to get through it.  Joanne’s goal is to enhance the natual beauty you already own to help you feel good in it.  You will have her contiued support throughout your skin journey, from treatments tailored to your skin type and concerns, to helping you understand your skin and how certain products and lifestyle habits/choices can impact the skin, and to sending you home with a customized skincare regime to continue caring for your individual needs outisde of the treatment room.

Are hair removal treatments safe?

Are laser Hair Removal treatments safe, and are there any side effects? Laser and light-based treatments have been safely used for many years for a variety of medical and cosmetic procedures.

What are the treatments like?

Laser energy is delivered through a small handpiece. The laser delivers an intense beam of light, which is absorbed by the skin and converted to heat. The heat is then absorbed by the cells being targeted, while the surrounding tissue remains unaffected. Your skin may be slightly red immediately following the procedure. This typically lasts from a few minutes to several hours after the procedure.

Are treatments painful?

Our Laser Hair Removal treatments use a patented Dynamic Cooling Device™ (DCD™), which prepares the skin for treatment by spraying the upper layer with a cooling burst of cryogen in adjustable durations—milliseconds before the laser pulse. DCD helps ensure that the treatments are as comfortable as they are effective.

How long does it take?

How long do Removal treatments take, and how many treatments will I require? Treatment times may vary depending on your specific needs. Hair growth is reduced after each treatment and the number of treatments required will be based on your hair color and type, body area and skin tone.
